I converted a lightbar from GTA IV and I'm trying to get the lightbar to work in game and with ELS also. Any advice?

are you having any problems with it or just want advice in general

Anyone know how to get the takedowns working on a lightbar? I've set them to Extra_12 in Zmodeler like the ELS Part Map Said to but no luck.

So the documentation is incorrect then? It might be worth raising the issue to LtCaine if that's the case.

EDIT: Anyone reading this later on, yes the documentation was incorrect, and this has been fixed in 1.05.

I have a problem when takedown environmental light is facing negative Z instead of positive X. Can you help me with that?

How did you organize your takedowns? Cause I don't have any dummys for them, but I bet you do

I mean how should I set them up to work like yours?

hm, im not sure, perhaps the light origin would come from the axis? although either way, you should do lods for all the lights, and then place each dummy to where u want it to flash from far away, (otherwise from a distance ur lights wont look good)

@OfficerFive0 , the only mesh that has dummies is EXTRA_1

yes but (im not 100% sure this is how it works, but im pretty confident) the parts axis is in essence its own dummy, therefore if say an axis was flipped, then ingame the mesh would be flipped. but in general ALWAYS do lods for anything ur doing

Can you explain, how to create those dummys properly? I think I'm doing something wrong.

Edit: All the lghts except Takedowns and Scene work as the should. Take a look:
