Hi there,

Few months ago the game and the mod worked just fine. I am currently using the steam version of the game. 

 

I have:

• Installed the latest version of LSPDFR from the officlal website.
• Installed the latest version of Rage Hook from the official website.
• I have extracted LSPDFR first and Rage Hook on top of it into the GTA V folder like before.
• Checked all the folders are correct and contain the right files.
• I clicked on the ragehook in the GTA V Folder. RageHook seems to load just fine.

 

Here's where the issue starts. The game window opens (windowed mode) and straight away a normal window 'program stopped working' pops up. I am currently using windows 10.

Solutions which I tried:

 

I've used Albo's troubleshooter program, there were no issues found. From the troubleshoot log file I received those information:

I have also verified the integrity of game cache, but without luck. The problem still occurs.

This is a fresh install of the game and the LSPDFR mod itself, therefore no other mods have been used, just the raw version.

I have ensured that I am using up to date versions of every LSPDFR dependency and LSPDFR itself.

 

Any ideas as to what's wrong and how to make the game and LSPDFR work?

If you have the steam version go into steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Installers and run the ''Social-Club-Setup.exe'' and install/update your social club and you should be able to fix it. 

 

I had this exact problem a couple of weeks ago and i tried everything and this was the only thing that actually fixed it :)

Unfortunately after going through the setup.exe the problem still occurs. No luck. 

 

Just to make sure, this is the latest version of Ragehook, right?

I fixed the issue to whoever finds themselves in the same situation. Put Ragehook and GTA V into complatibility mode for Windows 7.

Having the same problem here, if I launch it from Steam, no RagePluginHook, it'll show me the "Stopped Responding"

If I launch if from Rage Plugin Hook, it'll just show me the crash report.

 

Which I find quite interesting, I don't think it's something to do with GTA though.

I did, didn't seem to change anything

 

EDIT : After downgrading to an older version, putting an older version of RAGEPLUGINHOOK on. It seems to run just fine.

That seems a bit odd..
