GTA V LSPDFR Crashing in various situations (Again)

Featured Replies

Hi,

I made a topic not long ago explaining that I had crashes with LSPDFR, turns out it was Traffic Officer.

Today I present another shit error, and this one is worse. So I start my game up, the artwork goes by,

Game loads in the safehouse, I open console, type GoToPD, and get teleported. Now here's where shit

gets bad. Every time I approach the police station, LSPDFR crashes, but there are times when it doesn't

crash, then aftr about 3/5 minutes of gameplay, 'LSPDFR has crashes.' I have taken out all my mods, no

difference, I have reinstall RPH and LSPDFR to the latest versions, along with everything else, still no

difference. Now keep in my that this happened after the GTA V update on steam yesterday, not sure if

this contributes to the error or not. I would be mostly grateful if somebody could spend a little bit of time

to make my day.

Cheers, Squiggles.

Just so i'm clear with what you're saying..... it (still) does this crashing with no plugins installed (apart from LSPDFR of course)?

Do you have anything else installed, cars or ped models? (i know you said no mods but i'm just definitively trying to rule out something extra loading/spawning in prompting a crash).

What order did you put LSPDFR and Rage into your GTA 5 directory? LSPDFR should be put in first, Rage second, this allows rage to overwrite anything LSPDFR had in its files relating to Rage and makes sure it's up to date and compatible.

I only have LSPDFR installed, along with 1 car model, 1 ped, a new taser sound, and a new taser color & model.

And I have the LSPDFR files at the top, and the RPH files below.

No, i meant what order did you install them, did you insert LSPDFR first before RPH or did you put it in after you'd already installed RPH?

Though the fact you're getting into the game makes me think it's something spawning in causing the issue. The fact it's around the police station makes me think it's something with either a police ped, vehicle or weapon.

Think with such an issue, i'd be rebuilding my LSPDFR from the ground up so absolutely everything out apart from LSPDFR and RPH. No add on peds, weapons, vehicles or sounds at all.

Well seeing as you cannot install any mods until RPH is installed(It creates the plugin folder) I installed RPH first, then LSPDFR.

Also, I don't have a mods folder in OpenIV(Because there were no tutorials) so there;s no way I can revert back to the old textures, sounds, or models.(Reinstalling the game takes 5 days at the least for me :/)

Alright, SirenMastery works, but Police Radio causes errors, exactly how it did before - crashes when I approach the station.

I have made sure my RPH, LSPDFR, and GTA are up-to date with the latest version of Police Radio.

It's probably okay, but if you have any more issues, reinstall RPH only. It will overwrite anything related to LSPDFR it doesn't like the look of.

I'd also strongly recommend using Mods folders when installing cars and peds. If the game sees something it doesn't like in the directory it saves a lot of headaches. To get Open IV to create mod folders for you, go to the file you want to modify, click "edit mode" in the top bar, a red banner will appear asking you if you want to make a mods folder, select yes and there you go :)

I would also say that you should start looking up some tutorials + basic FAQ's and not make any more changes until you kinda have things roughly figured. It's not a criticism but GTA 5 is very fineky with mods and i've found myself the hard way that until you have the basics of modding it nailed down or at very least a backup copy you can pull files from to replace anything you break, you're always one step away from a complete re-install, so a little groundwork beforehand saves a lot of frustration and time later!

Right, I'm 70% sure there is an error with one of the ped models. Do you have the original cop texture by any chance?

Hi i have the same problem, My game crashes every time i drive near the police station when on- and off duty I have no idea why this happens cause it happens aswell when i play with a clean 100% un-modded game. Any suggestions? :D
