LSPDFR Has stopped woking. Unexpected and repetitive error!

Featured Replies

Hi!

I was happily playing the game when it froze for a second or to and said 'LSPDFR Has stopped working etc' and played a sound with it(I now call it the sound of death). Ever since I have started the game, it has done the same at unexpected points, from 1 to 30 minute(s) of play time. Now here's some food for thought below.

Specs: Lenovo Windows 8.1 Laptop 622.5GB 16RAM Laptop

Mods installed to GTAV & LSPDFR: Traffic Officer, SirenMastery, Police Radio, and LSPDFR(BTW, I have made sure they are all up-to date.)

I have one car model installed, and one ped installed

It would be greatly appreciated if anybody can help.

Cheers,Squiggles.

EDIT: I have verified integrity of game cache, and done almost all the tips online about other people having similar issues.

Take out LSPDFR and RPH and reinstall them both, it may be something conflicting though, my first suspicion would be the ped spawning in cauing issues but that's pure guesswork!

Option 2 for fault finding would be to start pulling things out the plugin folder (remember to back them up) and putting them back in one by one once you've verified the base lspdfr isn't crashing on its own, but seeing as all the mods are well known, up to date and not really too big in number, i suspect it's more likely a model if not lspdfr or RPH.

Thanks for for your time in responding! I will defiantly try both of them, but I'm quite unsure about pulling the plugins in & out, as if one of them is the error, I'm guessing it's not gonna be in my plugins folder for long, and every plugin in my folder is extremely essential to my gameplay.

Cheers, Squiggles.

Oh, and to add to this ghastly error, I have had this same crash since LSPDFR was brand new, with no custom peds, car models, mods, textures installed to my game.

It's ok, it would just be pulling them out temporarily to test where the issue was coming from then likely be a case of redownloading it and reinstalling it if one was found to be at fault. They are all well known plugins so there's not too much to go on!, have you altered any of the ini files? If so perhaps check there's nothing wrong in them that's confusing itself!

If it has happened right from the start then i suspect it being some kind of installation issue though, so best place to start is with RHP itself then LSPDFR itself, then you know if the issue persists that it's plugin or addon related and the base install is fundamentally fine.
