How to avoid the "DSOUND.DLL ERROR"

This fix doesn't work for me, unfortunately. I'm using Windows 7.

The you either 1) didn't do it right or 2) another issue is occurring, and you are blaming it on this one error Exception EFCreateError in module DSOUND.dll at 000116C5

Cannont create file 'C:Program files (x86)Rockstar GamesGrand theft

Auto IVasilog.txt'. Access is Denied.

If you start the game, and it just goes "GTAIV has stopped working" then you have another issue. If you have that type of issue Post a topic in GTAIV support with a diagnostic log and the community or myself will help you.

And that file tells me nothing but they are working....I need to see the scripthook logs and also...did you update to the latest version of EFLC 1.1.2.0?

left Alt+P is how you start the mod

download, and run this, check off the EFLC box at the bottom, please create your own thread with the diagnostic log under the LCPDFR support section
