GTA IV HELP GAME DOESN'T LOAD COMES UP WITH APPLICATION ERROR!!!!

Featured Replies

Hi I need help!!!

My GTA IV game when I load it, it comes up with this

Application Error:

Exception EFCreateError in module DSOUND.dll at 000116C5

Cannont create file 'C:\Program files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand theft

Auto IV\asilog.txt'. Access is Denied.

How do you fix this problem have re-installed game but that doesn't work, I have downloaded

the LCPDFR Mod also.

-.- Rightclick your GTAIV shortcut or LAUNCHGTAIV.exe (in the gta folder) and click run as admin, or do this and never worry about that error again and never use the auto run (my personal View)

then..you obviously did not follow the instructions. What I told you is the work around. And it is a proven method. Or you are not the only account on the computer and you have limitations

Or you did it, and you are getting another error....which of the three is it?

I'm the only account on my computer and I did follow the instructions which took me awhile but now its

got a blank black GTA IV box and also another box saying

Grand Theft Auto IV has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the prgram and notify

you if a solution is available.

Then what i told you did work, but you have another problem. Please list your mods you have installed and a diagnostic report using
