My E key wont work when needing to question some one pulled over

Featured Replies

when i go to pull some one over and exit my car and go up to the window and push E to talk (ask for id and so on ) it wont let me its like my E wont work . but E will work for every thing else .. Has any one else had this problem or know how i can fix it ?

have you looked in your LSPD First Response.ini file and changed the key to one of these keys https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.forms.keys(v=vs.110).aspx?

If this dosent work, in the game controls in game, change the interaction key (in your case the E key) to another key. If you have LSPDFR+ installed, change the interaction key in there to one of the keys listed above in the link. It is possible you don't have the right key enumeration (link gives the full key names) set and this could be causing the problem.

Is there an LSPD First Response.INI file where you can change this button? I was not aware of that. Where do I find it?

sorry i lied there isnt. instead i think i meant the LSPDFR+ ini file. that is found in Plugins/LSPDFR. Switch the Places It Says E with another key from here https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.forms.keys(v=vs.110).aspx

Well, it is not a lie if you made a mistake right :teehee:

Most lying is done on purpose and mostly not with the intention of helping people. you wanted to help. I know there is no LSPDFR.INI where you can change button functions because I've been looking for so long for this E-button malfunction. But when you posted this I thought missed something but it is indeed LSPDFR+ where you can change the button of the traffic stop. I changed it already a few times to other buttons but it doesn't make the problem go away.

cheers
