ArrestManager not loading

Featured Replies

Hey. After I had to pause for quite a while, I decided to update GTA V yesterday and went through the process of reinstalling everything.

2 houres later, I was finished and loaded the game. After fixing the usual problems, I got into the game, going on duty.

When LSPDFR tries to load the Arrest Manager, its saying that its not compatible with the newest game version and needs an update. Albos Troubleshooter saying the same.

The thing is, all other modifications from Albo (using the same versions of the .dll and so on) are working fine. Naturally, I tried reinstalling the Arrest Manager but its the same issue.

Either there is some kind of problem or I am overlooking something crucial.

When you installed the latest Arrest Manager, did you override Albo1125.Common.dll?  If not, then this maybe the issue you're having.

Actually it was simple, but still kind of hard to figure out.

It was my AV (Norton Security) causing the trouble. I always knew that it often tries to block plugins because they are detected as malware. So a while ago I have excluded my GTA directory aswell as the folder with all the modding related files in it from the surviellance.

Somehow Norton still caused a problem. I switched off the realtime protection for the moment of going on-duty and now it seems to work.

Anyway thanks for your tipps.
