RageHook 0.47 is broken?

Featured Replies

Hey there, so ever since the 0.47 update, I have had errors upon errors upon errors. I updated every mod, and used a clean game directory. I put all my stuff in like I normally do, and it works. Then, I add my other mods and all of a sudden; "Out of memory. Exit and reboot game.", Stuck on loading screen, regular RPH crash, etc. and the same messages even after uninstalling those mods that may have caused it.

I was just wondering if anyone else was having the exact problems as I was. Starting to really dishearten me having to constantly be fixing, and not playing. Thanks, GTA.

Haven't had any issues launching with 0.47 myself.

I second this.  I had to read Macgregor's post again to be sure he said 0.47.  If anything, 0.47 is more stable and FPS friendly for me.  Haven't had any problems yet specifically related to RPH version,

Xenith, when I had the 'out of memory' issue, it happened when I had too many high poly modded cars.  Is there a chance you may have too many car mods?

Not at all. No vehicle files were installed, nor were any ENB's or ReShade effects.

List what all you have in your game, please.  Something is causing you to run out of memory.

47 has been nothing but a nightmare for me, I guess we wait for yet another updated ragehook.

When I updated to .47, I cleared my entire plugins folder and only put in plugins that were updated to .47. I must have cleared out 10+ plugins and callout packs. Whenever the game is updated, it seems for me at least, LSPDFR starts to run less and less smoothly because, most likely, more and more content is being put into the game obviously. That addition of content in addition to all of your own add on cars and plugins and LSPDFR itself can take a toll on the game. I used to be able to patrol in Los Santos fine, but ever since the last few updates my FPS (and this was even after I upgraded to a GTX 970) dropped dramatically, so I stick to highways. However, clearing out my plugins folder worked to an extent. Check to see if you have any callouts or plugins that aren't updated to .47.

Yup yet another reason why we shouldn't be jumping ship on versions so fast, half of the callouts don't work correctly with 47 and older plugins either cause random crashes or slow the game down fps wise. I had to remove license plate randomizer (unstable) as well as stealth22's keep calm. I still had some crashes and decided to remove agency callouts and others until it was eliminated.
