Would recommend it to anyone. Its awesome. Especially with your setup, i think the 1070 would benefit well.

The 1070 is a great card for it's price. I have one and I love it.

Another vote for the 1070. I have the MSI variant of the card and it's awesome. I've also got an i7 (6700k) but I have 16GB ram rather than 8. So grab another 8GB, grab a 1070 and provided your CPU is the same as mine (or close) you'll have a power house on your hands. There's really nothing my rig can't max yet out. My i7 isn't overclocked.

I actually upgraded to an EVGA GTX 1070 SC 8GB from an EVGA GTX 960 FTW 4GB.  It's a huge difference.  I personally recommend EVGA as I have never had a bad experience with them.  Definitely upgrade, going from your GTX 960 with 2GB it will be a massive upgrade.

I have a GTX 1070 FE and i am very happy with it, first I thought the fan would be way too loud but NVIDIA improved that so good I can't hear the fan (Only when you get very close to the graphics card when it's running on something very graphic sucking) so yea. Btw. bought the FE because I got it nearly on the release date and also because in my opinion it's a great looking design from nvida :)
