What to Back Up?

Featured Replies

I'm patiently waiting for the new the RPH like everyone else. I am just wondering if there is anything I should back up whilst I wait? Will the new update overwrite anything such as carvariations or vehicle.meta files? Or will it just add the biker content and that's it.

Thanks in advance

You should always make a backup with RPH in case things go south. Nobody like hours of re-installation.

If you are using mods folder then the new GTA update will not affect nor break your mods at all simply because the update only patches the game folder itself. However, the game version will become incompatible with RPH in the process.

But if you are using the game folder along for the mods, GTA launcher will attempt to patch back everything along with the new update. Take it as "repair". And yes, this will definitely break / overwrite everything.

Yep, using mods folder. Stupid question now I think about it.

Thanks!

You can backup your current game version with RPH.
