I've always been a console guy... Yeah I know...

Anyways I'm finally biting the bullet and diving into building my own gamin PC.

I'm not very experienced in this.... Wondering if. Anyone can give me some input into my PC Parts List.

What do you think?:  https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Strickland_673/saved/#view=bbXHxr

Thanks

your Missing an OS, just letting you know if you didn't.

if your replying to me Please @0taku or Quote me so I get a notification

Also, I don't know what you are storing, but the likelihood that you will need 4TBs of HDD space and 480GB of SSD is pretty low, You'll end up spending a lot more than you probably need to. But to back up what was said, that will run GTA V and LSPDFR (It's the modifications for LSPDFR that can cause some performance issues.)

The 4TB were $0 for me anyways. That's why they are there.

0taku - I also have windows 10 available to me for $0 as well, I just forgot to put it in the list.

thank you everyone for the input!

What would you recommend in order to limit the performance issues caused by the mods?

I can't believe how fast the community is to respond and help with my questions. Thank You!

They aren't actually zero dollars, they just aren't coming into the search function on pcpartpicker because the parts are out of stock or something like that. (Those two are at least $70.00 each) and Windows 10 is 100 bucks on top, never mind the case and Power Supply. That setup will end up costing you a lot more than what it says it will, because pcpartpicker isn't an actual re-sale website, it is just a list creator.

In order to limit the performance issues, you probably want to go with a very good processor.

No I mean I have them already and they cost me $0. My buddy had them as spares for a server build. As well as windows 10 he has it for me, no charge to me, just the company he owns.

The case and power supply I already have purchased... That is why it states $0.00 in the list because I selected them to be shown as "already purchased"

That will run GTA 5 and LSPDFR.  Just not sure why you're going with only 8GB of ram, it'll bottle neck you very soon while you might get away with it now.  Ram is cheap, get 16GB.
