Well, the question is can you access gamefiles and such like you are able to on PC? If yes then you most likely will, if not then you will need a PC.

    No what he's asking if GTA V would work on a "STEAM LINK" which is a streaming device from the PC to your television. To answer your question yes GTA V would work on a steam link and you can use a normal xbox controller for it.
