My problem is that when I start rage plugin it asks me to download GTA 5 again, so I hit cancel and then i get the error message that GTAV launcher has failed to start. I have tried restarting my computer, but that didn't work.

Can you send a screenshot of the error messages, the rgh log and a screenshot of your GTA folder....

I solved the original problem but now I am getting this error message, "could not hook game process. insufficient permissions or bad ant-ivirus." my GTA is working fine now though.

First, make sure you have installed every requirement for RagePluginHook to run, such as:

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6, or higher. from here

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64) from here

Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 (x64) from here

 

Other things to do is to put GTA V folder or especially RagePluginHook.exe in the antivirus exceptions, and then run RagePluginHook.exe as administrator (by right clicking and pressing Run as administrator).

Ive disabled all my anitvirus and done everything above already, going to try and reinstall mods on a fresh copy.

Im pretty sure I have the latest, can't find it right now. If u can link me the newest one that would be good aswell.
