Emergency Lighting on Certain Mod Cars is White

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am new to the world of LSPDFR.  I absolutely love all of the mods and playing the game is freakin awesome!  I have become pretty familiar in the last couple months on how to add mods and edit certain files.  I am stuck on one issue though. On certain added police vehicles the emergency lights  are white when I turn them on.  This happens  with replacement vehicles as well as add on vehicles.  I am running the original visualsettings.dat now, but I have tried radiance V and other light mods but it doesn't help. It is mostly with led lighting like on the off road tahoe.  These vehicles lights look nothing like the pictures.  My Postfx is currently at Ultra as well.  The vehicles with Arjent Light bars seem to work better.  Any suggestions.  Thanks in advance for the help.  Glad to join the community!

Crank up your shaders and post-FX.

Ryan, Welcome to LSPDFR. Please try these settings SHADOW QUALITY: HIGH
SHADER QUALITY: VERY HIGH and see if this solves the issue. Also when you are installing for example radiance v, make sure to replace one visualsettings.dat in mods/update/update.rpf/common/data then when done, go  back to mods and go to mods/common.rpf/data/ and do the same thing there and then you are done :) your lights issue should be fixed.

Thank you guys for the help.  I cranked both up  and it still didn't make a difference and Radience actually made the Tahoe worse.  I had to set my resolution way low to set the shaders and shadows to very high so I'm thinking it might just be not enough performance from my computer.  Time to get a new graphics card.  I really appreciate your help.
