Travis county TX deputy gunned down in his home

Featured Replies

A Travis county Deputy was gunned down in his home off duty in what is believed to be a burglary he attempted to stop of his own property. Other sources had reported he left his patrol car parked in his garage and not visible so it is possible the person's involved did not know they were at a law enforcement officers home. He was shot in his back yard by a shed then after made it back into his home turned his radio on calling for help. He was transferred to a local hospital where he passed from his wounds. He was planning and set to retire this coming month after a 32 year career in law enforcement. It really is a tragic shame. He served his community that long almost making it then thoughtless individuals wanting a quick 5 finger discount decided otherwise. Suspects are at large and being sought. Property is not worth murdering in cold blood.

Main link below however other sources reported similiar.
