loading vehicle models

Featured Replies

I have tried to search the forum to no avail, are there any tutorials on how to put vehicle models in your folders? Some of the modder Read-me's for the cars are a little....hard to follow. I can't even find my x64e file that apparently exists. Any help? or point me in the right direction of a read me or something lol. or do i just drag and drop like scripts?

Everything is working beautifully - just need the cars to round out the experience. the Troubleshooter is the most amazing thing. Also - where would one post mod ideas? I know nothing about it but I have some ideas if a modder can take that idea and work with it?

thanks LSPDFR fam/and great modding community, brought replay ability back to my GTA V XD

marginally irrelevant but what is a game fiber tick? also, can I crash the plug in's by issuing too many commands to fast?

First make a mods folder.

Next, please don't use the term "fam."

Third, in the bottom of your GTA folder, there should be a bunch of x64_ (a letter goes in the blank after the 4). Scroll til you find x64e. Copy to mods folder.

Fourth, there should be another folder called "Update." Copy that into your mods folder as well.

Fifth, install OpenIV.

Sixth, use OpenIV to go to the specified folders withing your mods folder, take out the old vehicle files and put them in a folder on your desktop to back them up, so if you screw up an install, you can just put those files back in. Once you take out the files, just drag the files from the download into OpenIV. Remember to turn on Edit Mode in OpenIV.

I don't understand the point of signatures on this site. What the fuck is the point?

As always, please use the search button before posting and read the forum descriptions.
