Hopefully, that'd eliminate one issue

Hey guys bit of off topic here.
But whats your thoughts on SES with Red & Blues lights?  Now depending on which state, depends on what responsibilities they have? In QLD they are now switching over from Orange and white to red and blues. In my town, everyone is cracking the shits saying basically we have police, fire, and ambos all have red and blues and now SES.. They reckon theres too many organizations with lights but as far as I see it. There definately an Emergency Service.

In QLD, the only SES that respond to accidents at all unless in rural areas

SES in NSW have always had Blue lights in my old town (Rural Wellington NSW) we didnt have a 24 Hour Fire Station so SES were the Main Rescue People i think it looks good

Don't understand why that's an issue. As long as they are trained to use them and drive accordingly, I don't see the problem. People just complain about everything.

Pretty sure the SES help alot during natural disasters too, and getting there quick is vital.

Does it show up like that in game as well? That's how mine shows in openiv but works fine in game.

@PgUp it looks like you've got the wrong .ytd, or the wrong textures in one anyway.

and back on the p plate thing, i thought that L and P players had to have plates but full licensed drivers could have plates on and it just doesn't make any difference.

i don't know where I heard that I just thought it was a thing

Yeah it spawns in game like that, except I can see the normal bar for a split Split second but fast as fuck boi it changes to that, it's weird as fuck.

To my knowledge they're not authorised to actually drive under urgent duties driving conditions in Queensland. The lights would just be for use at incidents, same as in the ACT.

Red and blue is definitely more effective for road closures and road safety, people actually slow down, though it does attract rubberneckers more than ambers.

I think it's good though, conveys a little more authority and makes it consistent across the country.

(down here at least) SES are the commanding agency for tsunamis, earthquakes, floods and storms. Much like the way the CFA and MFB are the commanding agency for fires and the police are commanding agency for road accidents

SES has had red and blues for years in NSW, there's also another organisation that for a while overtook the SES called the VRA, Volunteer Rescue Association, not sure if the organisation is more wide spread, but it happened because the guy in charge of SES in my area formed VRA, basically just to make their own rules instead of following SES's, so because he was head of VRA and SES, he suppressed SES and instead of funding SES because it never got off the ground in our area, the funding went to VRA. (Could change, SES want their territory back I hear)

Before I go off track I mention VRA because they have red and blues too, and main response is to accidents, they've  responded to a mine collapse too. Anything rescue, they even take priority over Fire and Rescue here for some reason. Got SES and F&R mad because it's a third party neither can control, and they've recently got into shit because when they respond, they send everything they got, instead of keeping a truck at base in case of an incident the other side of town.

I believe they should have red and blue beacons if their job is even just to respond to an accident, those incidents are critical and timing is critical. No one moves for Amber or purple lights, I wouldn't want my family member to die because SES/VRA couldn't get there, because no one moved out of the way for them.

Might be something to do with the compression type, maybe change it to dxt5 or 3 see which one works

Ah it's RX2700 in this file, it came on dx5, changed to 3, did nothing. Err probably gonna explore the others now?

The background to that texture is black. I mean.. Not sure why but could it be using the black instead of whatevers on the template?

It really does look like it's not using textures

the solar panel is the phone number and website of code3, the bar just looks like when you install a texture on a car that was meant for a different car (did that with the Taurus ages ago)

and the ANPR cams are just grey squares

The VRA are actually a legitimate rescue agency and are accredited by the NSW State Rescue Board, however, interestingly enough while they are therefore allowed to run reds and blues, not all units (and this is the same for the SES) are allowed to use sirens and undertake urgent duties driving. They require approval by the NSW RTA and Police to fit a siren and use it/lights while driving. They also may not necessarily be considered emergency workers under the Road Rules and therefore may be liable for traffic infringements if they do drive lights and sirens to a job... and would be interesting in coroners court if they were going urgent duties driving and had a prang and someone died. I believe some SES units are in the same boat if they're not accredited rescue units.

To my knowledge, VRA are the combat agency for mines rescue but nothing else. I believe when attending other incidents they are only 'assisting'.  Fire & Rescue are combat agency for all urban search and rescue (USAR), urban fires, motor vehicles incidents requiring extrication and similar.  SES are the combat agency for flood, storm, natural disaster, etc (except when requiring USAR). Ambulance are combat agency for medical responses and motor vehicle incidents with injured persons prior to and after extrication (Police maintain the 'combat' role for the road closures and investigations), RFS are combat agency for rural fires and Police are combat agency for pretty much anything else.

Wait are you using Moose's FG Falcon?

Considering it's a copy of my mods folder and it works perfect for me, I don't understand it either. o_O

Have you tried a different vehicle in that slot to see if it does the same?

You have the wrong ytd/textures

The RX2700 lightbar is the one on the NSW GD FGX, Territory and Camry

You need this one

No no no, I think you're getting confused.
I *am* using the NSW GD FGX -  http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/12157-nsw-police-ford-fgx/
With the RX2700, *not* the HWP with Defender, and the textures on the RX2700 are fucking up from clean install.

Just tried taking the rx2700 texture from the camry and replaced the one on the FGX with it, still nothing. This didn't happen when I installed this on the laptop ages ago. Weird that it's doing it now.
