It affects all vehicles, although if the vehicle hasn't been set up for it the lights may flash incorrectly.

When you say it doesn't work, what happens? Does it crash your game? do the lights still behave normally? do they not flash bright enough?

Thanks Mac, sorry to ask as I know you gave us the 'how to install' basically I've just replaced the carcol file with the Aussie flash pattern one. It basically just seems to be using the original flash patterns as they look nothing like the strobe like flashes that appear on your video. I also noticed Darkmyre's recent video with the VF using your flash patterns is also nothing like mine. I did originally install Techengage's custom visuals but that just replaces the visual lighting so it shouldn't have anything to do with it. I guess just a short video or a bit more of a guide would help as I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to these things, sorry guys, don't mean to be a pain in the ass.

Unless you installed it wrong, it could be an issue with the carvariations file, the one the determines which cars use the pattern. With my paddy wagon I found an issue where some people's games had the carvariations.meta file in a different location to the one I mention in the install file.

try editing the carvariations.meta files that are in different dlc's. I don't have the locations of all of them unfortunately so you'll just have to do a bit of looking around

I've definitely noticed my files being in different places to the tuts, a model will be  in a different patchday. It's certainly annoying, had it with the VE SS and thought "what the fucks he on there's no file there/the mrodel isn't there to replace"

didn't really realise it was a thing. Had the Lenco Bearcat crash my game because there was no Riot files where the tut told me to put it, so I thought maybe it'll work if I put it where the tut says anyway. Nope.

wouldn't it be nice if Rockstar just used the one place for its cars and related car files, instead of x64e, 9 patchday files and extra DLC files.

Legend has it that it's different between steam and disk copies.

orher legends say that it's to do with people who installed it pre-release/shortly after release.

im not certain which one it is

Disk copy/through rockstars client for me

part of me wishes it was apart of my steam library, but it takes me 2 hours to download 6gb (Battlefield 1 Beta), fuck trying ~80gb.

I use RDE and all my vehicles, handlings etc go in the RDE vehicles dlc thing. Works a charm.

I know its a very small pick-up but it does seem odd when driving it. Doesn't matter too much.

Now that's extreme attention to detail. I wouldn't even notice that on the real cars without intense looking, and I like to think I know most/all of the differences between commodore models.

Does the VFI not have a tag there too? I know VEII had a SIDI badge there similar size, thinking there might be a similar badge there on the VFI that obviously just doesn't say series II.

SS Varients don't include SIDI, rather AFM, that said though, they still have the green box with the larged AFM text followed by "Active Fuel Management". I pick up these details because I own a VFII myself, also owning a VEII Omega.

@Darkmyre is doing a 24(ish) hour stream on YouTube with only some coffee and one can of V, because he's a mad man, I highly recommend you check it out. He just wrapped up some LSPDFR because of crashing, but will return later with other games. (Forgot to read the schedule but hoping for some LSPDFR in the morning/arvo again)

I don't usually plug, but I do enjoy Dark. Probably the only YouTuber I'm subscribed to without the high pitch and ADHD insane intros, which I enjoy.

That was on the original model bought off humster and I barely paid any attention to it. I knew the VFII had that badge but I never checked to see if the VFI was meant to have it too
