There's been a lot of shit recently surrounding yet more mod theft and I'd just like to have a little rant about a side affect of this. Before I start I'm gonna say that this isn't to start any arguments, if you want to argue with me do it in my inbox afterwards.

 

I am sick and tired of the absolutely shit attitude of a lot of people in this community. This time I'm not just talking about the people who steak mods, I'm talking about the greedy, worthless good for nothing's that have the decency to say "it's just a game get over it" when people are trying to get cancerous stolen mods off the internet. For you it might be "just a game" but you're just a motherfucker who sits back on their ass all day complaining that no one releases anything while simultaneously doing as little as possible to help. In case you hadn't realised by now, making mods costs a lot of money and a lot of time, and modders don't get payed for this. We do this out of the goodness of our hearts and expect people to respect us and our work.

So this one's a little shout out to the cunts of this world that only give a fuck about themselves, to the certain people I'm thinking of right now I can quite clearly remember some of you almost demanding models, yet when they get released I don't hear any words of thanks.

if you're reading this and are thinking "hey that sounds like me" my message to you is to take a long hard look at yourself and have some respect to the real modders of this world, if you aren't able to manage that, check yourself into a mental ward because if you're unable to manage basic respect, my bet is you've got quite a few other problems too.

if you have a problem with what I said, inbox me. But I (probably) won't be giving any names as to who I'm talking about, there's almost too many to count.

edit: all that being said I can't deny that there are some of you who do understand the work that goes into modding, and how terrible mod theives actually are. I thank those people

Hey guys, thanks to all the mod developers that make this community thrive. I've been lurking on this page for awhile but never made an account so thought it was time I gave something back.

I present the beloved NSW police siren, I will upload the file to lspdfr whenever I get the chance to(sometime within the next couple days).

Please excuse the GTR, I cbf installing any nsw police cars cause I'm running lapd cars atm.

Will post an update on here to let you know when it's uploaded.

I'm around, laughing at all the bullshit thats been posted in this thread. Both cars are progressing, albeit slowly. XR6T and XR8 are almost ready to go, haven't done much on the commodore since the last screenshots.

exactly right like jacob said the polys on the car you bought are completely different and you cant deny it because i have the humpster model you wanted me to crunch and they are so different to jacobs dev model its not funny so its so damn obvious you used jacobs dev vf and claimed it as your own for starters wer or oblong dont have the knowledge to crunch a car to be exact like jacobs its not possible unless your like some super robot but your not so its ripped..

I am very against ripping models and I know and appreciate how much time, money and effort goes into making a model. And I won't be the guy that says 'it's just a game get over it' because that is stupid.

But please guys, we've established that (well do I really have to name) is a thief - please don't drag it out. We don't want to turn the thread into a flame war, and ultimately get it locked. Let's just hope it doesn't happen again. (However if it does, definitely call them out because it's important to let people know - just don't turn it into the topic of discussion)

Anyway, i've been working on some more sirens and i've managed to find the wail of the motorbike siren. Unfortunately it doesn't specify what siren it is, so i'll have to find the rest of it which is a pain in the ass 

GUYS, please stop. If someone does something, let it slide if it isn't your problem. Please, we are here to discuss how we can make LSPDFR and GTA more australian for our games and you sit here and argue? Calm your asses. Is it your model McGregor? No. I understand you are furious about how you hypothesise that the model is ripped and what not, but if the "original consumer" wants to take action, he can take it. We shouldn't be worrying too much about it. Once again,, I will re-instate that I know how furious you are because people like you and Moose put their upmost effort to bring out the best quality models to make our LSPDFR experience more realistic and enjoyable, and I take hat off for you because you do put lots of effort, and if I was in your situation, I would be mad, but I can't do much, as I didn't originally purchase the model, and I didn't upload it. So please, calm down before this topic becomes closed for going "Off Topic"

@MooseYTY, just as a suggestion, maybe the NSW Fire Services website on the side, should be a different font, because it kinda looks like something slapped on from Word.
