Fire Truck and EMS vehicles

Featured Replies

Hey guys, so I've been working left and right to bring this community some decent models for our ems and firefighter friends. In order for me to get these accurate, I thought it'd be fair to make a topic asking you guys to post ideas or suggestions for these models? As of right now I am working non-stop on a HQ Pierce Velocity. Let me know what you guys think. If you have any Ambulance ideas from another game like IV or any game let me know here

Post pictures as you progress in the Vehicle Modifications Showroom and you'll get lots of feedback.

For the ambulance, if you can set it up so when the highbeams are on the scene lights on the sides and back come on that would be awesome. So far no ambulance models do that, and it's disappointing.

You literally said what I tried to do aha. Sadly the way GTA V uses extralights the coronas are always facing forward so sadly we can get the true and authentic scene light look but I can still setup the lights through IDS and turn up the emissive multiplier.

Yeah I know the coronas won't face outwards, but at least it'll look realistic to have bright emissives out the sides, even if it doesn't really light up the area.

I wonder if you could also tie it to the cab roof light, so when the doors are open the scene lights would turn on. That's something most ambulances in real life do.

I used doorlights that turn on when the doors open, but they aren't very bright and I can't control the emissive since they are controlled by a script.

That's unfortunate. Better to stick with using the highbeams trigger then.
