Vehicle installation fails despite many installation guides (Non-Steam-Version)

Featured Replies

Hello,

i tried to install some police vehicles in GTA V for the lspdfr mod. I followed some installation guides e.g. in this forum and on youtube respectively the .txt from the developer but it will not work. I have not the Steam-Version by the way if its important to know. How have i tried to install vehicles: I download the vehicle and put the files in the folder with openIV which is in the txt.(Before that i make a backup from it). Wenn the files are in the folder i tried to load these with F4 and the car spawner (New Police car named police2_something) and so i will load "Police2" but it only load the normale GTA V police car not the modified car.

Can someone help me??

Thanks

You most likely failed to find this one, which is pinned at the top of the GTA V support forum:

Make sure you installed the OpenIV.asi and the ASI loader.

It worked for literally everyone, if it doesn't work for you, then you're doing something wrong on your end, there's no magic trick.

Problem solved. Youre right with the .Asi and Asi loader. In the ASI Manager i have to install the Asi loader and the OPENIV.Asi manualy. Now it worked. Thank you very much
