If I remember correctly, you have to go into visualsettings.dat and find car.defaultlight.emissive.on, and then increase the value to your liking.

For me, I meant it brought back so many modding memories, exploring files, getting stable framerates, so satisfying to settle in for some good old lcpdfr.

Oh, yeah.. And crossing both fingers and closing my eyes when starting up the game to brace myself for the CTD.
