While I am in game, A bit into the game whenever I have shaders or no shaders on, It'll freeze up for a few seconds, then it'll turn black and say GTA 4 has stopped responding.

And I have no ENB, [cause I thought it was relating to the crash.]

EDIT : I managed to fix it

simply run the CMD prompt as administrator and enter this "bcdedit.exe /set nx AlwaysOff"

and whenever your done, just do bcdedit.exe /set nx AlwaysOn

 

be weary of using it though, it edits the registry.

Well nevermind, it doesn't fucking fix it, and this shitty excuse for a game.

I'm not expecting any fucking help either.

I completely feel you man. Please, just for me, list all the shit yout tried. Almost always rewards...

you right clicked on the DLL files, clicked unblock... Installed dependencies? I really don't know. Dump all you can at me! Hope to help ya!

It says access violation by the c000005

I went to the CMD, changed the Data Execution prevention, restarted the computer, made sure it was changed

yet i'll get this : EXECEPTION ACCESS VIOLATION.

Welp, time to go get on Microsoft's case, I think this is on their hand

DEP is worst than superfetch.

 

don't get me wrong, GTA 4 is a great game, and I shouldn't be raging as much about it. It's just I've been at it for nearly weeks.

I FOUND A FIX!!!!!!!!

 

LOWER YOUR VIEW DISTANCE

LOWER YOUR DETAIL DISTANCE

AND LOWER YOUR TRAFFIC DISTANCE

TO   LESS THAN 20!

NO MORE CRASHES, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE NO HARDCORE SHADER INSTALLED!

I've managed to get it to work a little by running multiplayer, I can see no one else has responded. I guess no one knows whats up.

I would try to reinstall the game. Or, you could uninstall all your mods and reinstall them again.
