Best Graphics Setup For GTA 5

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am needing some help in relation to working out which is the best graphics setup for my LSPDFR/GTA 5 game so I can get the best of vehicle/character textures, graphics and gameplay.

My computer specs are as follows:

2TB hard drive, NVDIA GeForce GT840M graphics, Intel Core i7-4785T CPU @ 2.20Ghz, 2.20Ghz, 16GB RAM, 64 bit operating system, x64 based processor.

Attached in the photos is my current graphics setup in GTA 5.

Also which is the best graphics program to use for LSPDFR? Is it VisualV, or Radiance?

Any help anyone could provide on which is the best graphics setup for my computer would be greatly appreciated.

We can't really judge ourselves of what kind of graphics your rig is able to run, you'll have to try changing the options yourself to see what kind of graphic quality you can get for decent FPS. It varies from one computer to another, depending on the hardware but also the softwares installed on your PC.

Thank you for the info, do you have any good tips for good graphics?

Don't be like everyone else and go ramping up every graphic option to maximum. Take one or two graphic options, raise them accordingly and test, rinse and repeat with the rest until you find a good balance of graphic quality and FPS. This also allows you to see and test out what every graphic option actually does too, whether or not a specific graphic option you turned on is worth keeping on, especially if it's burning FPS for very little gain to quality.

VisualV and Radiance are two perfectly fine choices to use, you can use them both, however you can only use either Radiance's "visualsettings" file, or VisualV's. I personally use Radiance's 'Brighter" settings file and VisualV together, but experiment and see what you like. A side note too is that you need to have your post processing effects(I think that's the option) turned up to high or better, otherwise you won't get the full visual benefit to Radiance/VisualV's graphic changes. .
