Social Club Offline - Unique Problem

Featured Replies

Ok, I have done a lot of research and what is happening to me seems to not be happening to everyone else.

I have a legit retail copy of GTA V, LSPDFR 0.3.1, and Rage .38

When I open the RageHook like I am supposed to I am prompted to login "for the first time", Ok cool no problem, I tick the remember me box, game loads, perfect.

My issue arises when I unplug my computer from the internet, then try the Ragehook again.  It is like Social Club forgot I ever did the first time, "offline mode wont work until you log in the first time" problem.  I dont have internet where I am trying to play the game full time and I cant seem to fix the issue.

I've tried the -scofflineonly, clear through cmd, blocking the gtavlauncher through firewall.  It wont just stay in offline mode.  I have exhausted all other resources and am looking here for help.

Any help that can be given or any direction, or a flat out I'm SOL would be great..

The goal is to log in the first time, close game, unplug the internet, open ragehook and be able to play offline mode.

My System Specs:

AMD FX-6300

16gb RAM

R7 250 2GB

MSI 970 Gaming

Windows 7 Professional SP1

Not sure if it works, but what if you log in on: https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/

I actually got this issue straightened out.  Looks like I had to log on to social club (without using -scOfflineOnly), then end the game, then disconnect from the internet.  Then restart the game, and I was allowed to use offline only.  No need for any connectionline text or anything.  The only thing I find is that when you are offline and use OpenIV to edit anything, then try and restart the game, it clears your saved info and would have to be connected again.  Anyways thank you for your suggestion and I hope this helps anyone else with the same issue.

You can't keep the game in offline mode indefinitely. After an indeterminate amount of time (for me, it's been around 7 days?) you will be required to go back online.

Thanks for the heads up, I guess we'll see.. I bring the computer to work with me on Saturday's so I guess that will satisfy social club lol... #firstworldproblems
