I think it'd be very cool to see in the next update of LSPDFR, you could choose your arresting style from 3 or 4 different options.

  • LCPDFR 1.1-style Arrests (LINK)
  • LSPDFR 0.2b-style Arrests
  • LSPDFR 0.3.1-style Arrests
  • Unarmed Arrests (LINK)

Come on, you gotta admit it'd be a pretty damn cool option to pick from...

I'm sure the LSPDFR developers have the technology to make something like that with the 'config' files n' all, so why not do it?

Spell Corrections

Because that's very aesthetic. From my point of view, it would waste quite some time to include that at the moment, and time is energy that could be used more efficiently, like working on the core of the mod, its stability, and its main features. That kind of addition often comes once the core product is finished to polish its edges a bit.

Instead of this, what I'd like to see is variation of animations for the same action to streamline it- for instance, pointing a gun at someone could either make them drop to the floor or their knees (like in 0.2) as a little variety. The most glaring addition I would like to see is melee combat arresting- there is animations for this type of activity in the game files (criminal dropping to their knees hurt, and the cop struggling to get their arms behind their back) - because of the idiotic ped AI which likes to fistfight the player at any opportunity.

That's what I meant by arresting style, it's the animation-style.
