Depends what that actually is, I think it's just a transparent segment not mapped to anything so you can either leave it as is or delete it. What I would do though is select the parts you want to change the colour of using the rectangular marquee tool and then alter the colours using the hue/saturation tools from there. Photoshop will only change the colours from within the selection, as you can see below.

Don't know if it's something I did when adding the car or not, but I only have 1 light working:

Hmm... not sure. Changing the colours shouldn't mess up the lighting configuration. Was it like that before you changed the colours?

I did edit the light glass colors if that may have caused anything?

 

Edit: Nope, because I just put them back to normal and it still does the same thing.
