Hello,

I installed the visualsettings.dat for this mod, but for me the lights are way too bright at night. I made a backup and even downloaded the original visualsettings.dat, but I can't seem to get back to normal light settings. Any idea why I can't go back to normal?

You need to edit a line of code in Visualsettings

Here is a tutorial 

This is to make then brighter but shows you where you edit the number to lower then :)

Find this line in your visual settings file:

#Other emissive lights

car.defaultlight.emissive.on 60.00

I use 60.00, which is a little bright

 

Change your number to a higher value for brighter lights. By the way, this is in common/data/visualsettings.

I searched that tag line and there not even close to 60. This is what they are:

car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on    1.50
car.defaultlight.night.emissive.on    1.50
car.defaultlight.day.emissive.off    0.05
car.defaultlight.night.emissive.off    0.003

I even downloaded the original visualsettings.dat and replaced it with the old one, but it won't revert back the settings.
