I was just playing this last night, but now when I load story mode, it loads for 5-7 seconds then crashes.

This is my ScriptHookAdvance log:

PLEASE HELP!!

  • 1 month later...

Go to LCPD:FR Response Configuator, located in your LCPD:FR file of the GTAIV Root Directory. Disable Auto Save.

Go to your GTA IV Directory and make sure there are no files called savegame.fr or anything like that. If so, delete those and try again.

ONLY CONTINUE TO MY NEXT STEP IF ABOVE DIDN'T WORK. DOING THE STEPS BELOW THIS WILL RESET YOUR SAVE-GAME TO THE FIRST MISSION.

  1. Navigate to Documents
  2. Navigate to Rockstar Games
  3. Navigate to Save Games
  4. Delete everything in that save game folder and try again.

If you cannot find that, you will have to have administrative privileges to complete this next step.

  1. Press Start + R, that should bring up the run dialogue.
  2. Type in %appdata%
  3. Navigate to Rockstar Games  or similar folders.
  4. Navigate to your savegame files.
  5. Delete those Save game game files and try again.

I am unsure on the %appdata% save game file locations, if someone could correct me, if needed, please do so.

~ Kind Regards,

Sergeant Blake
