GTAV Crash (going outside of city limits)

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Well just started to get into gta5 finally after a long hiatus from gta4, and have slowly modded the game with LSPDFR. Now I'm no stranger to the modding scene, so first off. I only have LSPDFR installed atm, and 3 police vehicles. The problem is this. The game starts fine. No problems. Cars all work, and don't ever have any issues with them. The problem is, when I leave the city area, and head north towards the "hillbilly" area lol, the game will auto crash. Atm I'm validating the game files just to make sure all is tickety boo there. But has anyone ever experienced this problem and know what is causing it? The only thing I can think of is that I haven't done the main story... which might keep me in the city area till I progress... but I don't think *or cant recall* if the game is built that way *similar to gta4 locked out area sections* when starting the game. I've looked over the net and here to see if anyone else has experienced the issue but.. alas cant seem to find anything.

Note: I can drive in the city area, pretty much forever and not have a problem.. its just when I leave and head towards the country side *to the north* itll just close down.. usually just by the huge prison area where all those satellite dishes are.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you're using RPH 0.37, make sure the "disable DLC cars" option is checked.

If you're using RPH 0.38, make sure the "enable DLC cars" option is NOT checked.

I too had this problem. When RagePluginHook is starting, hold "Shift" (left shift that is). Make sure that "Disable Countermeasures Against Multiplayer Vehicles In Online" (or something to that effect) is checked. Sounds strange I know, but this was indeed the issue for me. Go ahead and "Tick" that, and make sure it worked.

I could hug you both...ok fine *hug* lol. That did the trick *a loud cheer was heard from all the hill billies about to get tickets"

Honestly would of never though that would of been the issue. Thanks again!
