Installing Vehicles

Featured Replies

Hi all, I'm new to these forums and I basically only signed up to ask this question because I've been struggling for weeks now. My question is how can i install custom police vehicles? Even when I watch tutorials and follow all the instructions in the readme files it always seems to corrupt my dlc.rpf file. (This is when i go through the patchday3 files and stuff) and it makes my game have to reinstall that part and it takes up to 6 hours every single time. I just cannot get my head around this, if someone could help me it would be much appreciated.

You are not making a mods folder in the GTA directory make a folder called "mods" copy and paste your update folder from GTA directory into there and install vehicles from there on OpenIV that way the game won't reinstall as you have it in the mods folder

So I copy the update folder into a folder called mods and install the car mods and such into the mods>update etc folder? Correct?

Okay I'll give that a go and see what happens. though is there a faster way of fixing the corrupted dlc.pdf file without deleting the whole update folder and taking 6 hours to reinstall?

Search the forums before asking, thank you.

Well, it's literally pinned on the top of the first page of the support section, so I doubt it's hard to miss, but alright
