Greetings LCPDFR, today I will show you how to modify the game settings for your shotgun settings so that you can use it as a beanbag shotgun, since the LTL shotgun has been temporarily removed from LCPDFR. So while the team updates the weapon for the next release, you can use this instead. Now, this modification will turn your combat shotgun into a full time beanbag gun, so make sure to backup your WeaponInfo.xml before modifying it, especially since the LCPDFR beanbag is supposed to make a return.

First, open WeaponInfo.xml and go to the line that says

<weapon type="BARETTA">

Now replace the next three lines with this

<weapon type="BARETTA">

<data slot="SHOTGUN" firetype="INSTANT_HIT" damagetype="BULLET" group="SHOTGUN" targetrange="25.0" weaponrange="55.0" clipsize="6" ammomax="80" timebetweenshots="433">

<damage base="0" networkplayermod="5.0" networkpedmod="1.0"/>

<physics force="15.0"/>

Your shotgun will now deal 0 damage to the ped it's used on but will provide knock back on them.

I'd be happy to but I modded my weapons a long time ago and no longer have the default shotgun and I certainly do NOT feel like reinstalling GTAIV right now
