GTA Online question

Recommended Posts

Do I have to remove RagepluginHook and LSPDFR from my GTA folder to play online? Because I heard that GTA detects mods in your folder and you can get banned. I was just wondering is this the case and I should remove the mods when I play online, or will I be okay?

I suggest making a seperate folder for your modded GTA V and Vanilla GTA V because you can easily just switch and you won't have to delete anything.

Okay, so I make two GTA 5 folders in my rockstar folder one modded and one not?

All sorted thanks!

In all honesty if all you play is LSPDFR with different callouts and QOL plugins using Rage Hook you don't need a different folder since none of these mods actually modify the game files. You can boot GTA Online and no one will ever know that you have these mods.

On the other hand if you start modding the game, as in modifying/adding vehicles, tweaking various files (like visual settings), using trainers, etc. never go Online without removing these files first or without using a different install folder.
