My monitor, a Viewsonic something something 75hz 1080p like it says, can do 75hz.

My GTX 960, has HDMI 2.0 which is what I'm using.

I have the monitors drivers installed, yet it can only go to 60hz 1080p, however, if it turn my resolution down to 1024 x 768 ish, I get 75hz option...
Why am I not getting 1080p 75hz?

I think I read somewhere that 1080P only dose 50-60hz so this might be the issue

What about all those 100hz+ monitors then. Even HDMI 1.4(b) supports 1080p 120hz.

What ports does your monitor support? It's possible the cable is limiting you; it's also possible that your monitor can support 75 Hz *or* 1080p, but can't handle 75 Hz *with* 1080p.

Datasheet says 1080p is 60hz only on that monitor. Supports 75hz up to 1280x1024.

Oh well. I might try setting it to that res then, see how playable it is.
