I have a fresh new copy of GTA 5 , bought it and downloaded it last night...

I downloaded LSPDFR put all the files into my GTA 5 Directory, then I downloaded RAGEHOOK and put all those files in, overwriting some files, like I was told to do.

Then I went in my GTA directory and right clicked RAGEPluginHook.exe and clicked "Run as Administrator" and a pop up showed up saying some files were being blocked and would I like to unblock them? 

I clicked yes, and I saw on a video a window is supposed to open, and verify everything... But for me, after I click yes on that pop up, nothing happens. So I sat there and waited, nothing happened, so I double clicked RAGEPluginHook.exe again, and still nothing. I deleted everything multiple times and tried over and over, I have  NETframework and Redistribution installed.

Please help me here, what is blocking RAGEPlugingHook from opening? I disabled my anti virus and firewall and tried running it, and same problem.. It just doesnt wanna open.

Please and thank you for whoever can get me through this, I am dying to play... I just spent 70$ on this game last night to play this mod... Did I waste my money?

I had the same problem with ragehook and after looking around and everything I ended up to their twitter page and found an updated ragehook file and the link for it is in this thread in the following link http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/59777-rage-hook-help/ . I would suggest trying to download this version and see if that corrects it for you because it did for me and I did all the same things that you did. Hope this helps

Swatteam911, that thread was for when RPH version 0.35 came out and didn't work. (mostly with retail version players)  This person is having another issue with the new version.

I have version 0.36, so that wouldn't work with me or?

Ok sorry I wasn't sure which it was I just knew I had the same exact problem and went through all the same steps and came across that download of ragehook and downloaded and installed it and it worked fine for me so I thought that was the same problem. Sorry about that

I had that very problem. 

 

1, before copying it to your GTA directory right click on the main folder and tick the unblock box. 

 

2, make sure you have the latest version of framework.NET and C++ installed. If you don't Ragehook won't open and you won't get errors which can make it confusing. 

 

3, make sure your windows anti  virus isn't stopping it from loading up. 

 

These should fix it, they helped me. I'm 100% sure that's the problem because I had the exact same issue.
