The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

How do I install the new Rageplugin hook?

Featured Replies

I downloaded the new pluginhook 0.36 and replaced the files but when I go to launch the game its saying its still 0.34. what am I possibly doing wrong?

I didnt get it to work last night. Is replacing the files the only thing need to do? When I downloaded rage from their site it doesnt have the rage.dll and ini files in the downloaded folder.

I still have my old folder.

When i click the new rage.exe it says its 0.36 but when I launch from mod manager its saying rage is 0.34

Post a screen shot of your ROOT FOLDER and your PLUGIN FOLDER and your LSPDFR FOLDER.  PLEASE

U dont need speed radar if u have TRAFFIC POLICER by albo1125.  Its a must have.

Do u have all the necessary downloads for RPH and LSPDFR to run??  C+Redistribute, NETFRAMEWORK 6.4 i think.... ETC????

I'm actually confused about your pathway in which u install mods.   Mine would be C:rootdrive/programs86\Steam\steamapps/Common\GTAV\then i would be in the folder with all the necessary files for the game.

Anytime u post make sure u quote me so i get an alert letting me know u commented back

LSPDFR ran just fine before the patch then i moved all the files over from the new rage and it just wont run now. It just says game version not supported rage .34 when i click the rage exe it says its .36.

the path is just weird because im using mod manager

Ok so I just did a complete clean install of LSPDFR no more plugins at the moment to isolate an issue if its that.

It said rage was out dated, so I installed the new rageplugin hook from the rage website. I hit start/launch w/e and rage is telling me its out of date version .34 rage.

I double click on the rage.exe and it says its version 0.36, I dragged and dropped all the new files from the rage into lspdfr folder replacing the old rage files. Rage 0.36 that I downloaded does not come with a .dll or .ini rage files.

a few words

First off the NEW RPH downloads do not come with any .dll or .ini files.  It will create its own.   So make sure u just delete the old RPH and INI files within your ROOT GTAV folder

I would just delete all files associated with any outdated versions of RPH.  Then put the new files in

Run RPH as administrator..

ok, thanks.

I figured out the problem. Since I'm using mod manager the files are not saved in the GTA 5 folder and are stored somewhere else. Mod manager had its lspdfr files but also left the files in GTA 5 folder creating basically duplicates. So I had to delete the files in the GTA 5 folder for the new ragehook in the mod manager files.

It seemed like it didn't want to remove the old files in there but it wanted to launch off from them.

The game does launch now. Thanks!
