Problem with the new update and add ons

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am having issues since the new update was released. I managed to get Ragehook with LSPDFR working as well as scripthook, everything works perfectly just like before, even some of my replaced cars are here. The problem is when I try to install the add-ons like EUP or BCSO, which were working fine on the last patch, everytime I edit the dlclist.xml the game ends up crashing. Added cars work but as long as they are located in a non-dlc archive. I've been trying to move the line in dlclist.xml (from update.rpf)  "<Item>platform:\dlcPacks\(mod name)\</Item>" above the latest dlc/update and it still gives the same result.

Does the new update prevent us from installing add-ons or am I the only one experiencing this ?

I'm having the exact same problem. Everything else is fine, but whenever I edit the dlclist.xml the game just straight on crashes.

Yeah it's pretty weird I don't know what they did with this new DLC. I got EUP and all its add ons to work, still no luck with BCSO or added vehicles in a separate dlc folder. Thanks for your reply now I know it's not an isolated problem.

I did but sadly I installed a mod and completely broke the game, and i forgot to keep backups, so I was forced to use the latest version. But I found a way to use it on the new update, I just went on the dlclist.xml and removed the january and the upcoming dlc's since I don't really care about tuned cars. Now it works !

Good to hear!
