Retail Version of GTA No Longer Supported?

Featured Replies

Does RPH being down prevent gameplay? I haven't changed or updated anything since I last played, but all of a sudden I get "Grand Theft Auto V v1.0.617.1 Retail NOT SUPPORTED." I even reinstalled RPH from the original folder I had. Any advice?

617.1 was released today, therefore you did do an update. RPH will likely release an update soon (hours/days). or you can downgrade if you have any files backed up.

or try THIS.

What files do i need to replace, i backed up the original game last week (with nothing installed just good old GTA with tutorial mission complete)

The "update" folder and "GTA5.exe"

Essentially if you go into your GTA 5 main folder and you don't see a "GameBackups.rph" file then you don't have a RageHook backup created and the only thing you can do is wait for them to update RageHook soon.

The GameBackups.rph file is roughly 550mb.
