Backup file help

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I have some questions about the new backup customization feature for LSPDFR 0.3.

There is an old mod that I use that adds SAHP cars to the game. What I do, I add those cars and then replace them with models that I like, like a CVPI and Charger with SAHP liveries. With this mod, the cars get added and they don't replace other vehicles, which means they don't actively spawn, unless I spawn them in myself. I was wondering if I could edit the backup file to have the added cars spawn in around the highway area or at least los santos county. The models names would be Hwaycar and Hwaycar2. Would this be possible?

The mod I am referring to: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/sahp-added-cars

Yep. You can add any valid model name into your backup.xml.

Awesome, I was looking at the file and was a bit confused on how to actually edit it. Did they make a tutorial or a help section on this file? Just don't want to screw things up.

I (think) we have one ready in a few days.
