I've been trying to replace police4 with a vehicle model that has a lightbar; however, every model that I attempt to use (several CVPI and Charger model variations), none of their lightbars ever seem to work right.

Any instruction on how to get them to work correctly?

1. Do the downloaded vehicles come with additional files? (vehicles.meta, etc)

2. Have you edited the vehicles.meta for police4 in the past?

One of the four mods I've tried came with vehicle.meta information (which I put into mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/levels/gta5).  That resolved the issue of that's mods emergency lights floating out in the air, but the lights were still all amber, and not red/blue...even though texture files had red/blue).  With the other mods I"ve tried, their lightbars seem to have just tiny, dim points of light in the center that flash (if that makes sense).

I've done very little editing to vehicle.meta files in the past (ususally just copy/paste whatever the devolper provides, but never for police4).

I'm somewhat of a novice when it comes to in-depth modding.  I can replace the ytf/ytd files without any problems; and, being a graphic designer, have even started diving into the world of creating my own liveries, but when it comes to meta and carvariation files, I start getting a litle lost.

I 'm trying to replace police4 with either a Charger or CVPI that I created a Highway Patrol skin for, since police4 and policeb seem to be what are spawned when requesting State Police backup units.
