DIagnostics tool to wrong folder, can't play LCPDFR

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I wanted to play some LCPDFR after a long break, installed LCPDFR,trainer and ELS8. I went in game and it spams the error LCPDFR error, and A LONG message, that keeps spamming on top of my screen and making a loud spam noise. After that I reinstalled everthing, and still got the problem. I went to my Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV\LCPDFR folder and did the Diagnostics Tool, when I run the tool, it checkes for files in the EpisodesOfLibertyCity folder, instead of the GTA IV folder, And I relaly dont want to use LCPDFR in EFLC. So can someone tell me, how to I change the place the Diagnostics tool seeks for the LCPDFR mod please?

I believe you can run it in advanced mode, which will allow you to pick the directory.

Can you maybe tell me how do I do it? Please?

Ok nvm, I found how to do that, but now after I Check Advanced mode, then click on ''Check your Instalation'' Then ''Browse game folder'' Then it leads me to this folder https://gyazo.com/beaedad6394beb73b5ad28e0cf11568b and it only allows me to open more maps, doesnt let me use the GTAIV map itself for checking

EDIT: Oh and in the screenshot it only shows maps, doesn't show a single file, JUST MAPS, even if I click the little arrow to select whic files you want to see, there is no option for that, only lets me check folders

Have you actually played the game? GTA IV has a strange way of activating. I'm not sure how it works on Steam, but on the retail version the .exe doesn't actually show up until it's activated. You might have to go here: https://support.securom.com/pop_gtaiv.html and click on the "Offline installer package" link.
