Over the past few days I've been attempting to add Lt. Caine's V Interceptor Default- Type model into my game. Everything works fine until I open my Rage Plugin Hook. When I do so, the game opens like normal, but it then starts to download the latest GTA 5 update . When I get into the game and attempt to change the Police 3 livery it reverts to the car's default LSPD skin. I have attempted to block my game from the internet by using the method that LukeD posted on the forums, but when I attempt to overwrite the commandline folder I get an "Access Denied" Error. I apologize if there is an older topic relating to this subject, but I've been searching for a while on here and haven't found much to specific models being removed, just LSPDFR itself having issues with updates. I do understand, however; that as long as there are updates to the game, mods will have to be updated. I'm relatively new to LSPDFR and have learned a great deal so far, I'm just curious to know if I am doing something wrong to cause this or if it is just an issue with the game itself. As of tonight I updated my Rage Hook to the latest version: 0.28.... I look forward to learning about this issue and I look forward, hopefully, to downloading some of the great skins and models that have been made so far.
