Hello again,

You can always downgrade GTAV (unless you didn't backup on RageHook) if the newest update doesn't work for you. If you use steam, then go in offline mode and do the downgrade process.

yes, fx 6300 and gtx 770 2gb 8gb ram windows 8, i have had it running before on the last version but since the update it hasnt worked

Hmm...ok you can always revert to an older version if you allowed Rage Hook to make a backup. Here's a link to how. Look at the #2 post.

Before you start playing again, you should do 2 things: 1)If you have a Steam version, go offline mode so it doesn't update, or if you have a retail, turn off internet. 2) Download RageHook .27 (Not .28) because you are reverting the game's version and .28 doesn't support previous versions.

What I did is follow "Jeff"s youtube videos on the tutorial and made sure I had all the requirements for ragehook and made sure I had the 4.6 or better not the 4.5. I followed all his videos and it works well but crashed when I installed the arrest manager he has. :/

Do you have the latest version of GTAV?

Hi,

I just recently purchased GTA V thus the newest version was the initial version installed in my particular case, thus reverting to an older version isn't possible as far as I know :-/

Hmm...Idk what to say. If you don't have a backup then there's nothing else I can do for you...sorry.

Doh! Thats what I figured the case was; I have a feeling I'm going to just have to wait until a newer version of Rage is released that fixes this issue. At least based on forum posts it doesn't look like I'm the only one having trouble :-/

Though there is one thing I can tell you. Just go to the Rage Hook forums and tell them your issue. Maybe there's another way instead of reverting.

Just an update, but I've unbelievably been able to fix my issue! To fix mine, I downloaded the following:

I went to install it, but it said it was already installed so I did an uninstall and then installed it from scratch and now everything is magically working :D
