I've been aching to play LCPDFR for over 5 months now, but my stupidity has stumped me yet again. After giving up, I decided to try again today.

I read all the support threads, but they just don't clarify it. If someone can help me out on steam/xfire/teamviewer, it would be appreciated as well.

I install GTA IV, and install the 1.7 patch. Then I run the LCPDFR installer, and it just says it failed to install. Do I need to download ELS as well? I have two car models (LAPD Southland crown vic and an LAPD Charger) that I want to install, but once I get LCPDFR working, I don't know how. I've tried every guide under the sun, but clearer step by step instructions would help, starting from the point I install GTA IV. Thanks guys, I'm just too dumb to figure it out.

Also, I use Windows 7 with 8 GB of memory. I downloaded LCPDFR .95RC2, but I'm not sure what else to do.

Please, don't acquire help outside of this thread by other means, you created a support topic for a reason, to get help, keep the help within this thread, so it doesn't get all complicated, also, you stated that you read all the support threads, but you failed to read the READ THIS FIRST Sticky? Because you need to post Diagnostics logs, LCPDFR.logs etc to get full help, which the stickys would have told you to do, are you running the installer as admin? And are your directory's read only?
