so this is my problem. In order to have multiple liveries you need to set your UV mapping to vehiclepaint3. It looks normal in zmodeler but messed up in game.

Please post a screenshot of the material setup. 

The UV channels in the material are off. DETAIL2 needs to use UV #2, not #1. 

Ok. When it is set to #2 it goes to how it looks like in open iv and game, but I will try that and let you know if it works.

Right, because the game uses UV #2 instead of caring what you set in Zmod. You need to transfer the mappings from UV 1 to UV 2.

Set it to channel 2, and then copy the channel  1 mapping to channel 2 ( or remap, but that's harder).

what do you mean by copying ? I've been learning zmodeler as I go, so I don't know it too well

figured the copying channel thing.  But now shows up with no texture in game and openiv

Never mind.... Figured it out lawlz I was using an old save
