Hey guys! So I would absolutely love it if someone could make a New Jersey State police skins or a new car or something that had the Logo and words on the car as well as the same lights! It was done really well in GTA IV and I know someone made a car that was like the NJSP but it had a different symbol! I'm really excited for one of these to come out! If somone made a really nice skin they would definitely be earning a donation from me :)

Those skins look great! Exactly what I was looking for! Cant wait to see what you can do with the beautiful artwork of GTA! Your a really nice guys too!

 

I should get some time this coming week to give it a go, I will give ya a shout here and keep ya updated.

Working on getting to know where to put files for diff cars and whatnot . I do not have any templates for the cars just winging it from over laying other skins and opaque them out a bit to ref. I'll get the templates as the few listed on the mods forum links are not working for me. I'll keep ya posted. They look amazing! My only problem is I have no idea how to install the, I read what you listed in the readme but every time I save it the game updates for no reason expect to get rid of the new file... Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what's going on. I installed the vehicle where instructed then replaced cvpi_sign_3 and that was all. My friend installed it as well with no issue.

I went into the police.ytd and went down the the 3rd police car and hit replace with the cvpi_sign_3. Is this right or am I just supposed to drop it into the vechicles.rpf folder?

 

(I'm new to installing custom skins, I'm good with mods not so much skins and openiv)

You open the vehicles.rpf (that is where you should have installed the vehicle police.ytd files 4 total) inside that open police.ytd, you should see a cvpi_sign_3 inside police.ytd , That is the one that gets replaced.

Thank you so much!! It helped a lot! I installed it and am having problems with the game, but the video did help! Found out I totally forgot to install the Ford files... Cant wait to get the game situated to start enjoying your amazing work of art!

Glad ya now finally got it working if you would like a certain unit # with matching tags or custom plate name or whatnot for you car let me know I'll make ya one.
