LCPD:FR 1.1 Game recovery = Crash

Featured Replies

Hello!

Thank you in advance for any help that you give me.

Whilst playing LCPD:Fr 1.1, the game crashed (naturally), with the error message "unrecoverable fault - please restart the game". This was not a problem, and I did so. The game began to load, and took me to the apartment, where Niko stands to start the game. A blank "loading" screen appears (LCPD:FR attempting to recover the game), and then it crashes, with the same error message as above.

What I am assuming happens is that LCPD:Fr attempts to recover the game which is un-recoverable, and therefore crashes again.

Is there anyway to prevent LCPD:Fr from recovering a game? If I don't have to, I don't really want to reinstall the game, but of course will if this is a necessity.

INFO:

Full legal copy. Fully updated patches etc. Mods installed correctly.

ATTEMPTS TO RECTIFY:

- Restart PC (in hope LCPD:Fr resets)

- I have also attempted to reset the error-log file, however was unsure how to do this, and other support forums did not give clear advice, so did not want to break it further!

Many thanks, and will be glad to help anyone out with a HQ Skin/Texture for any help that you can provide.

Reinstall the mod and check that you have all requirments are installed

Ensure that you have ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi are in GTA IV directory

And check that you have Xlive.dll or Dsound.dll not the both of them

You can use you Diagonstic Tool to check your errors if you have a log file share it with us to know where is your problem exactly and ttake a screenshot from your diagonstic tool

and check that you are running GTAIV.exe or LauncherGTAIV.exe as administrator

If you are using the manuel installation try to install LCPDFR using Automatic or Conversely

Make sure that you up to dated all LCPDFR dependency

and like Starmix said you can remove your savegame.fr

and try to reset your game and play new game but get a backup from your previous Save...

Can you try to Remove Mods and play your LCPDFR without mods then install them...
