About

This is a mod designed to replace LSPDFR's Police Computer with a less boring one. As with the default one, you can search for people and vehicle plates. Apart from that you can locate said people on the map and get a wanted list from the LSPD HQ to hunt down criminals while you're bored. You also can do misc actions such as quit a callout and request Code 2 local backup. You also can use a gamepad!

Usage

Press G (or whatever you have binded Throw Grenade to) while stationary in a police vehicle. Then navigate with keyboard arrows or the DPAD on the controller, selecting with Enter/Gamepad A and canceling with Backspace/Gamepad B.

While searching, you can use your keyboard or use the onscreen one.
 

Installation

1. Download and install Ragehook v26
2. Download and install LSPDFR
3. Place "RAGEComputer.dll" inside the GTA V/Plugins/LSPDFR/ directory.
4. Place "RAGENativeUI.dll" inside your root GTA V directory.

Disclaimer

This mod accesses the internet to download pictures of peds from http://ragepluginhook.net/PedModels.aspx, make sure it isn't blocked in your firewall or all pictures will be question marks.

I guess I could make the background color & the LOS SANTOS POLICE DEPT. customizabale, but the logo is a game asset, so you'd need to edit the game files to replace it yourself.

A quick video showcase of the mod, no commentary cause my kids wouldn't be quiet long enough.

I had to edit this because it took me multiple attempts to find the wanted individual. You get a red circle but no blip, which I think is cool as it requires you to investigate the area... I'm just not a good cop... 

One thing I did notice though is 'wanted suspects' seem to spawn relatively close to your current location. Maybe make it a little farther away.

This is essentially Vigilante mode from GTAIV, except this mod ties right into the LSPDFR suspect database and you can actually arrest suspects instead of straight up murdering them, so it's only going to get better... assuming Guadmaz sticks with it. ;)

Nice vid! But I'm not spawning the people from the wanted list. All I do is get all peds and then pull 6 people that have the Wanted attribute. I guess I could make it pull the ones further away, but then when you want to look for a criminal again, it'd be gone from the list.

Also I'm planning to add a stolen vehicles list, but I can't seem to find info about stolen vehicles inside LSPDFR API, is there a way?
