Game Crash - Apparently Not Related To A Plugin

Featured Replies

I have attached my log file which explains what happens but I will tell you from my point of view.

I received a callout/ANPR hit via Traffic Policer, the car stopped when I requested it to.

I stepped out and asked the driver for ID, which he gave me

As I went back to my vehcile both him and his passenger stepped out and started shooting me, so I shot back.

Both suspects along with the vehicle vanished and an onscreen alert/notification told me that LSPDFR had successfully managed a crashed and then a further notification said to "send the log file to me" - no idea who me is and I assumed it meant Traffic Policer had crashed but posting in the comments there has led me to post here as the mod author says it's not his mod.

When I remove Traffic Policer everything is fine.

The only mods/plugins installed are:

/Plugins/
LSPDFR
Keep Calm
Spotlight
Traffic Control

/LSPDFR/
Albo1125.Common.dll
Arrest Manager
Traffic Policer

RagePluginHook.log

It's worth noting that the hashfiles are related to vehicles, I googled them.

The 2nd crash happened when no custom vehicles were installed and the only ones I have installed anyway are the crown vic and impala....nothing else.

The mod author says it's not his mod but it is indirectly.

The error being handled and the notification about sending a log file isn't LSPDFR. It's done by Traffic Policer and the fact that callout is what happened prior to crash suggests the same.

The TRUE reason for your crash isn't a vehicle hash. It's a weapon asset hash.
"Weapon asset with hash 0x99b507ea could not be loaded within a reasonable time. It may be invalid"

And what's the stacktrace say?
[23/09/2015 09:55:05.860] at Rage.Ped.GiveNewWeapon(WeaponAsset asset, Int32 ammoCount, Boolean equipNow)
[23/09/2015 09:55:05.861] at Traffic_Policer.Callouts.OwnerWanted.<situationFourWithPassenger>b__60_0()

To summarise, the crash you had is related to a weapon asset that could not be found OR was simply unable to be loaded within a reasonable time, the weapon asset i question was being called via Traffic Policer, specifically the OwnerWanted callout.

You can't do anything about this other than verify this happens on each occurrence of this callout, if it's fairly frequent then there may be an issue in that the mod author typed a hash wrong or typed the model name wrong. Example "csb_cop" and "csp_cop" will call two different models. The second of those two of course, is invalid.

If I had modded weapons, or reskinned ones or whatever then I would agree that it's my fault but as I have tried your mod on a vanilla game with no other modded items like vehicles or weapons then I have no idea what's going on.

I also deleted and reinstalled the game prior to the recent crashes.
